Salesforce has announced that support for ClickSoftware is ending December 31, 2023, and encourages current customers to migrate to Salesforce field service management with an expanded set of features.

Salesforce is encouraging customers to migrate off the legacy ClickSoftware to realize expanded features now available through Salesforce field service management and the Service cloud.

Rimini Street offers ClickSoftware perpetual license customers traditional L4 application support.

While the ClickSoftware code base is stable, there are common issues that can cause problems:  

  • Interoperability with applications or browsers  
  • Corrupt data files  
  • Performance issues 
  • Security 

We employ a variety of software support techniques including: 

  • Changes to configuration (OS, file system, network, LDAP, etc.) 
  • Data fix scripts  
  • Modifications to database structure  
  • Deployment of archived patches 
  • Script debugging 

Support is provided for all errors in both the base code built by ClickSoftware and all customized code 

We leverage the Service Optimization Software Development Kit (SO-SDK) for access to ClickSoftware source code. Skelton DLL classes are also used as best practice guides for our developers. 

Under our support services contract, ClickSoftware versions up to v8.3 will be supported for 15 years from the time you switch to Rimini Support™.
