Rimini Street has developed a seamless solution that translates the Basic Authentication protocols into Open Authorization 2.0 (OAUTH2) protocols. With this solution, the same Basic Authentication configuration is still used by your existing ERP system. However, instead of sending the messages to the Exchange Online service directly, the messages are now sent to the Rimini Street Connect server to convert the message to OAUTH2 and relay it to the Exchange Online service. You can continue to use your existing Exchange Online services with no changes to enterprise applications and databases.
